Yuyi was one of 17 Latinx artists who contributed an illustration for Hear My Voice, a picture book that tells the stories of 61 children, ages 5 to 17, who have been separated from their families at the U.S. – Mexico border. Hear My Voice is told through gut wrenching excerpts of interviews with children in migrant detention facilities, culled from publicly avaialable court documents. Hear My Voice will be released on April 13, 2021.
