In 2018, Yuyi appeared on the podcast, The Science of Happiness, to discuss and read the gratitude letter she wrote to Nancy, a librarian in San Francisco who changed Yuyi’s life. The Science of Happiness later made an animated video, A Thank-You to Librarians Who Make Everyone Feel Welcome, from excerpts of Yuyi’s podcast appearance where she reads the letter of gratitude she wrote to Nancy.
